Ed Tadiello - Fine Artist/ Film design concept Illustrator (Traditional and Digital) /Scenic Artist


Working for over forty years as a scenic and fine artist and advising as a art director/designer for film and television, Ed has an incomparable experience in the art of mise-en-scene. He has worked for a number of directors including Martin Scorcese, Steven Spielberg,and iconic productions like The Sopranos, Indiana Jones, and is currently scenic artist on the set of 30 Rock.


As well as his work for film and television, he continues to maintain a strong interest in portrait and figurative work, and has completed a number of commissions, including a portrait of Alec Baldwin which was showcased in Capital One Bank’s nationally televised advert.


During his early years as a commercial artist, he learned his craft painting book covers for and in 198– was MTV’s Young Artist of the Year.

Mia Funk - Fine Art Painter


Trained at the ateliers Beaux-Arts, Paris. She has participated in number of international juried competitions including the Salon d’Automne Paris, for which she won the Prix de Peinture 2009. She has shown at the Grand Palais, official selection of the Salon des Artistes Français 2012. She was a finalist in Sky Television’s Art Competition London 2010, and The Guardian Newspaper’s London Lives Competition 2010, was nominated for the Celeste Prize 2010. Her work has been highlighted on radio, television and numerous art publications. She has exhibited widely and is known for her figurative and portrait work. She was commissioned to do a painting for the 30th anniversary of the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival. Her paintings are held in a number of public, private and corporate collections including the Dublin Writers Museum et de la FIU World Art Collection in Amsterdam.

Gloria Pacis – Fine Art Painter / Commercial Artist / -- years as Scenic Artist


After several years working as lead stage designer for Seattle Children’s Theatre, she moved to New York in 2002. Apart from her work as a fine artist, where her focus is on large figurative paintings, she works as a commercial artist with a special interest in designing signage and props.


Her dramatic use of contrast and expressive brushwork, results in a strong graphic style which is immediately recognizable.


As well as her painting and commercial art, Gloria likes to lend her time to causes she believes in and has created artwork and organized art auctions for Veteran Artists and other charities.

Our portrait artists have over a hundred years combined experience painting the human form. They have a breadth of knowledge and expertise for which they have been awarded prominent painting prizes, as well as notable public commissions. Their commercial work for film and television dramas has given them invaluable working knowledge of composition and the scenic arts, and an instinct for creating strong images which are both memorable and full of emotional impact. Some of the directors our artists have worked with include Martin Scorcese, Steven Spielberg...Prominent productions our artists have been involved with past and present include The Sopranos, The Good Wife, 50 Rock.


Other notable portraits created by our artists include L’Audience (a group portrait of leading 20th century artists, including Picasso, Matisse and Cezanne, awarded the Prix de Peinture by the Salon d’Automne de Paris 2010. ‘An Audience with the Queen’ an award-winning portrait of Lucian Freud and Queen Elizabeth (Thames & Hudson Prize 2011).


Their work has appeared in theatre, on publicity posters, and in arts and literary magazines. Their paintings are in a number of public and private collections in France, England, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, China and the United States. They have collaborated with architects and fashion designers and Mia Funk is currently working with a Chinese fashion label who have commissioned her paintings for a range of luxury hand screen printed silk scarves.

COLLECTIVE

Laura Stevens, born outside of London, England in 1977, gained an MA in Photography at Brighton University in 2007 before moving to Paris where she is currently based. Her work has been exhibited internationally in group exhibitions including the Singapore International Photography Festival, The Centre for Fine Art Photography, Peaches and Cream, Arles Photography Open Salon and the FOTO8 Summershow, along with a solo show at The Latvian Museum of Photography. Her photographs have been featured in The British Journal of Photography, PHOTO+ and F2 magazines, and she is a regular contributor to publications such as The Times Magazine, The Times, The Indepedent, The Saturday Telegraph and Metropolitan. Stevens was named a UK Flash Forward winner by The Magenta Foundation, received a gold medal in the Px3 Prix de la Photographie Paris and an honourable mention in the Lens Culture Exposure Awards.
